Battered Sega Sammy posts FY 07 $501 million loss

Sega Sammy's posted a full-year loss of $501 million for the period ending March 31, GameDaily reports.

The company's net income for the period was $415 million.

"As rebuilding our consumer video game business is crucial, we now need to review our game title strategy more flexibly to adapt ourselves to changes in the trend of the market," said Koichiro Ueda, head of Sega's PR department.
