Warner Bros. is discontinuing Batman: Arkham Origins online services, reminding everyone the game had multiplayer
Batman: Arkham Origins servers will be shutting down in December.
Batman: Arkham Origins publisher Warner Bros. has announced that the game's online services will be taken offline on December 4. This means the multiplayer mode, which the game totally had, will not be playable after that date.
The announcement was actually made back in October, but we must've missed it with all big hitters that released during that week.
Although it may be hard to remember, Arkham Origins did in fact have a multiplayer mode that featured playable heroes and villains of the story, as well as regular members of in-game factions. Watch the trailer above for reference.
You'll still be able to play the single-player campaign offline after this date. There are a few achievements tied to playing the online mode, however, so if you've been meaning to unlock them, now would be a good time.
Arkham Origins was left out of the recently released Return to Arkham collection. The game wasn't as well-received as the Rocksteady-developed titles at launch, but it was a solid entry nonetheless.
