Ballmer: Kinect to support PC in "formal way in the right time"
Microsoft head honcho Steve Ballmer has hinted that Windows PCs may get Kinect support in the future.
Apparently, this will happen when the time is right, and not a moment before then.
According to a video interview with the BBC, Ballmer said Microsoft "will support that in a formal way in the right time". For now, though, Microsoft is focusing on gaming and more socialization with the device through Xbox 360.
Ballmer said Microsoft will announce Kinect support for PC when it has "an announcement to make".
Sounds like an eventual done deal, then. Until that time, console yourselves with the various Kinect hacks.
