Atlus announces first 3DS project, mostly leaves out the "3D" part
Aching to scratch your head? Dying for an excuse to just let your fingers go to town on your cranium?
Well, this ought to do the trick.
Famitsu (via Siliconera) has the first details on Atlus' Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor Overclock, and if you're hoping for a full-blown sequel to what's easily one of the best RPGs on the DS, you probably ought to brace yourself for disappointment. Instead, Overclock is a remake of the original Devil Survivor with better graphics, full voice-acting, and a new episode called the 8th day.
Oh, and get this: all the fights, action, cut-scenes, spells, and other things worth splashing with a shiny new coat of 3D paint take place on the bottom screen. You know, the one that's not 3D. So, what is on the swank upper floor? Menus, mostly.
Since you're making Catherine, Atlus, we're pretty used to not having any idea what you're thinking. This time, though, it's most certainly not for the right reasons.
