Assassin’s Creed: Syndicate players can craft all sorts of nifty things
Crafting and customization make a return in Assassin’s Creed: Syndicate, and Ubisoft has provided details on how both systems work.
Players will be able to craft certain gear which will provide bonuses. They can also upgrade items such as the bomb pouch, medicine creation and other important things.
In order to craft, players will need to find schematics in order to learn the recipe. The schematics are located in chests, and can be handed out for mission completion. Allies may also provide the player with such essentials.
Crafting resources can also be found in chests and gained through various missions. In order to find more nodes, players can upgrade their Scavenger ability to find and gain more resources spread out across the game world. Theses crafting nodes can also be used to upgrade the player's gang, bribe the coppers, sabotage enemy equipment and more.
Like with many games, some items will require unique materials, so be on the lookout for those.
Mind, some pieces of gear are exclusive Ubisoft Club reward item, so to acquire these, players will need to link the game to their Uplay account.
The skill tree has three categories: Stealth, Combat and Ecosystem. These categories will help out with combo boosts, Lockpicking, health upgrades, Eagle Vision, carriages and and Rooks - the latter Ubisoft said it will detail more next week.
Both Jacob and Evie have their own unique skills which can be upgraded, and Ubisoft goes goes into more depth over the Ubiblog.
You should go give it read, as it also contains more information on the crafting system.
If you missed out on the gameplay videos we posted on both Evie and Jacob last week, you can give them a watch here and here.
Assassin’s Creed: Syndicate releases on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on October 23, and on PC November 19.
