Assassin’s Creed Rogue Remastered reviews round-up, all the scores
Assassin’s Creed Rogue Remastered brings back the only forgotten entry in the series to PS4, and Xbox One.
Assassin’s Creed Rogue Remastered is a bit of weird one. The original game was released on PS3, and Xbox 360 at a time when everyone was much more excited about Assassin’s Creed Unity and the then-newly released consoles - until, well, we all remember how that one turned out.
The game came to PC four month after, and everyone assumed that would be the last we ever hear from it. Until Ubisoft officially announced Assassin’s Creed Rogue Remastered in January for PS4, and Xbox One, following several rating board and retail listing leaks last year.
Despite its history, the pitch for Assassin’s Creed Rogue has always been interesting. You play as Shay Patrick Cormac, an Assassin-turned-Templar who hunts down his former brethren. Rogue is unique in that way, as all other Assassin’s Creed games revolved around one hero of the Assassin's Creed.
Rogue borrows Assassin's Creed 4's acclaimed ship combat, but takes the story to different environments from that game. Adéwalé, one of 4's supporting characters, plays a role in this story, too.
Assassin’s Creed Rogue Remastered comes packed with all previously released DLC, and will support up to 4K resolutions on PS4 Pro, and Xbox One X.
