Assassin's Creed Origins Taste of Her Sting Guide

To start out the Assassin's Creed Origins Taste of Her Sting quest, you should head to the Lake Mareotis region of Egypt, which you'll automatically find yourself in once you've completed the prologue section of the game. If you look just east of the starting town in the region, you'll find an island with a synchronization point, and once you've reached this island, you can find the first ritual site on the middle of the smooth platform area, pictured just below.

After you've found this initial investigation area, use the Animus Scan by pressing up on the D-pad, and search the nearby surroundings for all the investigation clues. There are around six clues for Bayek to find in total, and while a few of them can be found around the initial ritual site on the flat surface, three of them can be found closer to the water on the northern side of the island.

Now that Bayek has wrapped up this initial investigation, the Taste of Her Sting quest will task you with discovering four additional ritual sites scattered around Egypt, without actually providing you with the locations of any of them. However, there's a way you can bypass this task and skip straight to the final ritual location. It's not an actual cheat, it's more just a shortcut that we stumbled upon while playing Assassin's Creed Origins.

You can see the final ritual site location just below, which is located in the central point of the Ka-Khem Nome region, which generally advises that Bayek is level 17 before he enters. Once you're in the region, head to the synchronization point, and then head into the temple ruins that are located immediately south of the synchronization point.

Now that you've reached the ruined temple, you'll want to head round to the wall on the east side of the site, and scan the wall from the outside of the temple ruins, until you see the red scorpion sign in the image just below. At this point, Bayek will note that he's in the correct place for the Taste of Her Sting quest, and you'll be prompted to investigate the temple ruins further.

Now, you'll need to head inside the ruined grounds, and deal with all the enemies waiting their for you. Rest assured that there aren't many of them, and you can take them out via stealth attacks from the various bushes in the vicinity. After you've killed off everyone, you'll need to head down and underground through the set of stairs located in the middle of the ruined temple, as they're pictured just below.

Once you've reached the bottom of the stairs, use the Animus Scan to cover the small cave, and examine anything that can progress the investigation. After you're done in the cave, you'll notice that the investigation gauge isn't full up, and that there's one item to examine that's out of reach. You'll now need to exit the temple ruins, and head directly south east from the ruins, until you come to the cave entrance pictured just below, located slightly above the water level of the river.

Head all the way through the cave until you come to the red scorpion pictured just below, and turn right, heading forwards until you come to an enclosed area with a few characters waiting for you.

Once you're done with the enemies waiting for you, the Assassin's Creed Origins Taste of Her Sting quest will conclude, and one of more mysterious quest lines in Assassin's Creed Origins will have come to a close.
