How to Earn XP Quickly in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey
Assassin's Creed Odyssey encourages players to earn XP (experience points) quickly as part of its change to an RPG model, introducing side quests, romance options, and a full loot system, all on top of an XP-based levelling system for Kassandra and Alexios. We'll be showing you how to grind out levels quickly for Assassin's Creed Odyssey below.
XP can be acquired through a variety of sources in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, and not just through completing quests. If you're struggling to meet the level cap, try the following:
- You’ll earn XP for every landmark location that you uncover on the Assassin’s Creed Odyssey map, so the more you explore, the more XP you earn.
- Make sure to complete location objectives. Holding down the left analog stick will bring up a list of objectives whenever you're in a named location on the map, and if you complete all of these, you'll bag yourself some extra XP.
- Check your quests for any where the XP is marked gold - they'll have the biggest payout.
- The Ubisoft Store will allow you to pay money for temporary XP increases.

Max Level Cap
The level cap in Assassin's Creed Odyssey is currently 99, having been increased after an update in February 2020. This won't increase when playing New Game Plus, but will remain a possible milestone in either playthrough.
