Assassin's Creed 3 yet again rumoured for Egypt
The latest edition of UK mag PSM3 is further spreading the rumour that Assassin's Creed 3 is set in Egypt.
The north African nation has been long-pegged as the location for the third full game in the series, after Egyptian artwork related to the franchise appeared in June last year. Ubi downplayed the image, saying it had nothing to do with a game project.
The piece "represents an Assassin imagined by the artist and was created for the upcoming Assassin's Creed Encyclopedia".
It was originally introduced by UbiWorkshop as a teaser image for the launch of the website.
Ubisoft has already said that a new Assassin's Creed game, rounding off Desmond's story, will release next year; it's expected Assassin's Creed 3 will follow that.
There's more detail on CVG and Eurogamer. Beware of Revelations spoilers, however.
