Assassin's Creed 3 for Wii U will get all possible DLC

Some reassurance for any future Wii U owner who plans on picking up Assassin's Creed 3: Ubisoft has confirmed to CVG that all DLC released for the other versions of the game will be released for the Wii U one as well.

The confirmation falls in line with creative director Alex Hutchinson's statements last week, as he said that the Wii U edition would be "exactly the same game that's on other platforms."

Ubisoft plans on releasing five pieces of DLC in total, three of which will form their own additional, episodic single-player campaign. New multiplayer missions, characters, and maps are also on the docket.

Assassin's Creed 3 was released for the PS3 and Xbox 360 yesterday in North America to largely positive reviews. It comes to Europe on those same platforms today. North American Wii U owners will get their hands on it on November 18, while European ones will do the same on November 30.
