Assassin's Creed 3 teams up with Rock the Vote for US art tour
Assassin's Creed 3 and the Rock the Vote incentive are teaming up in order to bring awareness of the US elections in November.
Rock the Vote is a nonpartisan nonprofit organization founded in 1990 in order to "engage and build the political power of young people."
Back in the day, you used to be able to see adds for the group on MTV when it was still a music video channel. We remember the one with Madonna specifically. Puritans were p**sed over it.
As part of the Rock the Vote incentive, an art exhibit titled Art of the Assassin featuring Assassin’s Creed 3 works by contemporary artists will be traveling around the US, starting this week.
“Partnering with Assassin’s Creed 3 provides us with an opportunity to engage a large and influential group of young people,” said Heather Smith, president of Rock the Vote. “If we can inspire just a small percentage of Assassin’s Creed fans to become more active in the upcoming election, we’ll no doubt be on our way to achieving our goal of registering 1.5 million voters.”
The first exhibition opens in Los Angeles at the 25 DTLA Gallery, and the tour will conclude in October. At the last showing, the art will be auctioned off publicly with all proceeds benefiting Rock the Vote.
Assassin's Creed 3 releases in October.
