Ascend: Hand of Kul explains how to wage war

Free-to-play Xbox Live RPG Ascend: Hand of Kul has produced a new trailer explaining how players will compete with each other.
Ascend: Hand of Kul – Wage War has players fighting for a chosen god; it's a single-player game, but a sort of "shared worlds" experience in that you're connected to other players all over the world, competing for supremacy. You can invade other players' worlds, too; I'm getting a sort of Dark Souls meets Kingdoms of Amalur vibe. It's currently in closed beta and expected on Xbox 360 later this year.
Hand of Kul is sort of part of Xbox Live's Summer of Arcade promotion; if you buy any two of the games on offer, you'll get a souls pack; so it can't be too far off now.
