ARK: Survival Evolved update adds water-loving Castoroides Feliconcisor

ARK: Survival Evolved players can now brings a handy woodchopper with them wherever they go.

Todays ARK: Survival Evolved update delivers yet another example of prehistoric megafauna to the island sandbox: Castoroides Feliconcisor.

An ancestor the modern beaver, this giant mammal has the same chisel-like teeth, allowing it to quickly harvest wood. It's not ideal for transporting heavy loads, unfortunately, but Studio Wildcard suggests keeping it handy for crafting on the go.

As for why the island hasn't been totally flooded by the activities of these busy fellows, other creatures knock the dams down, apparently. As good an explanation as any.

The patch also delivers other improvements- improved client and server performance streaming and handcuffs for use on human prisoners.
