Apple's App Store topped $10bn in sales during 2013
Year Walk developer Simogo and Badland creator Frogmind labelled developers to watch by Apple.
The Apple App Store generated a record $10 billion in sales during 2013, according to the iPhone and iPad manufacturer.
During December alone customers downloaded over three billion apps generating over $1 billion in sales.
Apple called out some of the biggest game hits of the year - Candy Crush Saga, Puzzles & Dragons, Minecraft, QuizUp and Clumsy Ninja - and labelled Simogo (Year Walk, Device 6), Frogmind (Badland), Atypical Games (Battle Supremacy) and Plain Vanilla Corp as developers to watch in 2014.
