Apple U-turns on App Store's first sub-based streaming game app

Just one day after the announcement of the App Store's first subscription-based streaming games service, Apple has shut it down without explanation.
Big Fish is baffled by the removal of its app.
"We were notified that the app was removed. We’re trying to follow up with Apple to try to figure out what happened," founder Paul Thelen told Bloomberg.
The app has actually been available since November 18, and Big Fish and Apple had gone through several weeks of certification process together.
Apple is yet to comment on the removal of the app; as Bloomberg notes, although Big Fish was the first to offer all-you-can-eat games, the service is not dissimilar to the unproblematic Netflix app available for the iPad.
