Aonuma: Zelda players "most dedicated" of all fanbases
The Legend of Zelda producer Eiji Aonuma wants to thank series fans for their dedication.
"When Mr Miyamoto approached me years ago to design the dungeons for The Legend of Zelda; Ocarina of Time, I recognised that I was given the opportunity that might never come again in my life," Aonuma said in a video marking the 25th anniversary of the series.
"What I didn't know is that I would be welcomed into what I believe to be the most dedicated, and passionate group of fans that I have ever encountered.
"I am truly humbled by your support and thank you all."
Aonuma was joined by composer Koji Kondo as they thanked fans and discussed their gratitude to players.
