Anthem weapon categories include snipers, machine pistols, more - here's some gameplay

If you're feeling left out of Anthem VIP demo due to not pre-ordering, maybe some gameplay will ease the sting a bit.

The Anthem VIP demo went live yesterday for those who pre-ordered, and despite a rocky start, quite a few folks have been able to play the the online shooter.

Included in this gameplay video, is a look at some the of different weapon types available. Arekkz attended a preview last week, and the footage seen below was captured from the event.

Looking over the video, you'll see assault and scout rifles, shotguns, heavy machine guns, grenade launchers, marksman rifles, and other categories in action.

Each weapon category has a set of options. For example, the sniper rifle category features the tradition weapon you're used to using in shooters. But it also features an explosive sniper rifle, for instance.

Blueprints for weapons can be found in the game, and unlocking one will allow you to upgrade your weapon.
