Here's our first look at Anthem's Interceptor Javelin

BioWare showed off a decent chunk of high-level Anthem gameplay in a livestream hosted overnight.

One of the most common requests by Anthem fans to BioWare has been for the developer to give us a look at the Interceptor Javelin, the lightest and most agile of the four.

After a few hiccups in last week's show, the Interceptor's big reveal was delayed to this week's stream. Today's stream has all Javelins are donning the recently revealed Legion of Dawn gear.

The activity being shown is one of Anthem's Strongholds. These are four-player activities that sound a bit like Destiny Strikes, with the first one having been shown back at E3. The one being played, called Temple of the Scar, also appears to borrow Destiny's no respawn restriction for added challenge.

The difficulty of the Stronghold really shows off the build variety, and how all players must rely on combining their abilities to clear enemies quickly. For instance, you'll see a lot of times one Javelin set up an enemy group with freezing attack, before another swoops in for the kill. Anthem is borrowing some RPG rules like aggro, too, with the Colossus in this case playing that role.
