Here's how the Anthem demos will differ from the launch version

Anthem's first public demo is just a couple of days away, and BioWare has already listed a few things that'll be changed come launch.

BioWare previously said that Anthem's demos, both the pre-order exclusive and the free one, will feature an economy and progression balance intended to give players a chance to try out everything it offers with few restrictions.

Over on Twitter, Anthem's executive producer Mark Darrah decided to list even more differences players will notice between the demo and launch. Some of these are obvious; such as the demo potentially having more bugs, seeing as it's an older build.

The demo doesn't feature a tutorial, and will start all players off in the middle of the story. This is how the developer is able to include a cross section of the game's core activities for players to experience.

Because of this, you also won't be able to create your character (pilot). Other major differences include the overall balance, so you may want to hold off on calling it grindy or too easy.

For PC, Darrah noted that flight controls should feel more natural on a mouse compared to previous showings, but the launch version will be even better. Finally, some of the item names and such have been changed in the final version, which is not completely surprising.

The first Anthem demo kicks off this Friday, January 25 on PC, PS4, and Xbox One. It's available to pre-order players, as well as EA and Origin Access members. Everyone else can jump in the following week with the second demo.
