Another Splash Damage-id collaboration "certainly not a terrible thing at all," says Brink writer
Brink writer Ed Stern has told VG247 that a second collaboration from Splash Damage and id Software is never off the table, but insisted the studio is purely focused on upcoming FPS, Brink.
In an exclusive chat with us last week a pre-E3 event from Bethesda just outside Paris, Stern told us it would "certainly not be a terrible thing at all".
"By no means not," said Stern when asked about the possibility. "But our sights are completely full of Brink. All that's on our radar is that."
But what about after the release of possible Brink DLC?
"Yeah, sure. I mean they make great games. We’ve been incredibly lucky that the previous games we got to work on were Wolfenstein and Quake and we used the Doom 3 technology. Those are our three favourite games. So yeah, that’d be certainly not be a terrible thing at all."
Splash Damage developed the PC version of Quake Wars: Enemy Territory alongside id, which released back in 2007.
