What Are the Glowing Spots on the Ground in Animal Crossing New Horizons?
The glowing holes you'll find scattered throughout your island in Animal Crossing New Horizons are actually buried Bells. You'll need to dig them up to get to the Bells hidden within. To do so, craft a shovel, the recipe for which you will receive on completion of Tom Nook's DIY workshop class. Walk over to the gold, glowing hole and press A with the shovel equipped. This will dig up the Bells. For a look at earning as many Bells as quickly as you can, head here.
How Many Bells Are Hidden in the Golden Glowing Holes?
For the most part, you'll get 1,000 Bells for digging up these holes. From time to time, you may also get 10,000 Bells, though this is much rarer. You can also use these glowing spots to grow money trees. You can find more info in this guide.
