Android activations up to 900,000 per day according to Google

Over 900,000 unique Android devices are activated every day according Google's senior mobile Vice President Andy Rubin.

The figure is an increase of 50,000 devices since February.

Responding to rumours that Rubin may soon be leaving Google, he stated that has "no plans' to leave the company.
