Anderson, Jovovich confirmed for new Resident Evil film

First Showing reports series director Paul W.S. Anderson and star Milla Jovovich have both been confirmed for the new Resident Evil film, currently languishing without a subtitle under the codename Resident Evil 6. It's expected to tie up the events of the last two films, forming a second trilogy. Shooting will begin in northern autumn, and special effects will be handled by long-time Anderson collaborator Mr X.
