Anarchy Reigns has released in North America

At long last, Platinum's fighter-shooter Anarchy Reigns has released in North America, after Japan got the goods before anyone else last summer.

Those who pick up the Anarchy Reigns Day One Edition will receive two 2 extra multiplayer modes, as well as an unlockable Bayonetta for both multiplayer and single-player. The edition will be made available only for a limited time.

"We are excited to see the game reaching the Western audience," said Atsushi Inaba, executive director and producer at Platinum.

"Anarchy Reigns is an ambitious project for PlatinumGames, as we wanted to challenge ourselves by creating a new genre, Multiplayer Brawling. You could play the game as a one-on-one fighter, but Anarchy Reigns truly comes alive when multiplayer characters are locked in chaotic battles. We look forward to global anarchy online once everyone gets a hold of the game."

Anarchy Reigns is available on PS3 and Xbox 360, and will be released in Australia January 10 and in Europe on January 11.
