It's almost as though this week never happened. So instead of trying to find an excuse to write 1,000 words just for the sake of it, we'll keep it short and sweet.

Super Smash Bros. Brawl still tops the Wii chart in the US and Mario Kart Wii is still steering clear of all opposition in Japan and the UK. No shock there.

Japan's the only feature on an otherwise barren 360 landscape this week as the Japanese start to feel the Tom Clancy: Rainbow Six Vegas 2 love, knocking off the mysterious The Id@lmaster: Live for You!. Elsewhere, it's FPS phenomena Halo 3 (UK) and Cod4: Modern Warfare (US) gunning their way to number one for yet another week.

Guess what? Gran Turismo: Prologue still heads up the western territories for PS3 and, unsurprisingly, Senjou no Valkyria (Valkyria Chronicles) hits top spot in its first week on the Japanese shelves.

So there you go. You all buy the same games all the time.

PS. A note to PC owners: The Sims 2: Kitchen & Bath Interior Design Stuff: how good is it really?

Thanks to Gamasutra.
