Ubisoft throws out everything, including a dancing panda.

After EA and Bethesda's rather straightforward conferences, it's time for Ubisoft to throw its gauntlet into the ring. Can this publisher show why it's one of the best in the business?
Mario + Rabbids: Kindgom Battle
The first title at Ubisoft's press event is Mario + Rabbids: Kindgom Battle! Nintendo veteran designer Shigeru Miyamoto came on the Ubisoft stage to talk about the game. Mario + Rabbids isn't a straight up action game or RPG. Instead, it's a "tactical adventure", essentially a strategy RPG.
The game has an exploration mode, but once you enter certain battle areas, it switches to a freeform tactics title. There's a cover system and even overwatch commands, like XCOM. There are character levels, tech trees, and more!
Mario + Rabbids: Kindgom Battle is coming to Nintendo Switch on August 29, 2017.
Assassin's Creed Origins
Next up was Assassin's Creed Origins, the soft reboot of Ubisoft's flagship franchise, taking the game back to the origins of the Assassin Brotherhood. After a new cinematic trailer, Ubisoft showed off-screen footage of the game, promising more later.
Assassin's Creed Origins is coming on October 27, 2017 for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
The Crew 2
The Crew returns with a full expansion of the original concept. While the first Crew was cars-only, The Crew 2 has cars, boats, planes, dirt bikes, and more. It's about all motorsports!
In the cities, it's all about street racing. In the countryside, there are off-road buggies and motorbikes to tear through the scrub and brush. On rivers and bays, you can jam on motorboats. And above it all, you can fly prop planes.
The Crew will be out in early 2018 for PC, Xbox One, and PS4. Players can register now for beta access.
South Park: The Fractured But Whole
The South Park RPG got another shot on the E3 2017 conference stage. It's coming to PC, Xbox One, and PS4 on October 17, 2017.
Transference
Next up is Ubisoft's weird very meta, virtual reality title. There were very little details on what this game really is, but at least it's something to talk about while we figure it out.
Transference is coming Spring 2018.
Skull & Bones
The next project shown onstage was Skull & Bones, a game that finds its inspiration in Assassin's Creed: Black Flag. Ubisoft Singapore, the folks behind all of the ocean combat in Assassin's Creed, have struck out on their own.
As a solo player or with a team, players can loot and plunder. Ubisoft showed off Loot Hunt, a team-based mode where groups fight against each other to see who will get the most loot. In-between the fighting, there will be loot drops on the ocean you need to pick up. Like Black Flag, there's ship-to-ship combat and boarding combat.
Skull & Bones is coming in Fall 2018 on PS4, Xbox One, and PC, so you'll have a while to wait.
Just Dance 2018
It's Just Dance. In 2018. You dance to a mix of modern and classic tunes. There was a dancing panda on stage and Bebe Rexha came on to sing one of her songs.
Just Dance 2018 is coming this October on Switch, Wii U, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and PC.
South Park: Phone Destroyer
South Park got a second game, this time on mobile. The kids of South Park dress up and fight it out in what looks to be a card-based RPG. South Park: Phone Destroyer is coming to Android and iOS in 2017.
Starlink: A Battle For Atlas
Ubisoft Toronto surprised with a toys-of-life space fighter title called Starlink: A Battle For Atlas. Starlink will see players building starships out of modular toys, and then taking those ships into an open star system.
Starlink is coming to Nintendo Switch, PS4, and Xbox One is coming Fall 2018.
Steep: Road to the Olympics
After the launch of Steep in 2016, Ubisoft Annecy has been working to improve the title. Steep's first full expansion is all about high-end competition, taking players to the Winter Olympics. Steep: Road to the Olympics is coming December 5, 2017.
Far Cry 5
On stage, they showed off the new Gun For Hire mechanic, where you can set up followers in certain positions. A dog can bring you guns after it has utterly maul their owners! There's co-op too!
Far Cry 5 is coming to PS4, Xbox One, and PC on February 27, 2018.
Beyond Good & Evil 2
To cap off the press event, Ubisoft showed off Beyond Good & Evil 2! The future world of humans and humanoid animals continues with the long-awaited sequel. Michael Ancel has been waiting a long time to do this game.
The game takes place before the birth of Beyond Good & Evil protagonist Jade. It's a seamless online game, with planned solo and multiplayer action.
Players can register for the Space Monkey program to help Ubisoft craft the game. No release date was given.
