"All hope is not lost" for Valkyria Chronicles 3
Sega has indicated that an English language release of Valkyria Chronicles 3 may not be as unlikely as suspected.
Confronted by DualShockers in support of the Gallian Liberation Front, a group dedicated to getting the PSP SRPG released in the West, Sega's Aaron Webber asked fans not to despair.
"The best I can say right now is 'Don’t give up, keep trying', to all those guys out there, keep growing the cause, and we’ll see what happens in the future," West said.
"All hope is not lost, I think this is the best way to look at this. Keep at it, you never know what can happen in the future. It’s very open ended."
DualShockers had handed over a petition with 2,000 signatures in support of the game's release.
Console sales manager Hiroshi Seno said recently that Sega had no plans to localise the bestselling Japanese release.
The original Valkyria Chronicles on PlayStation 3 and its PSP sequel were both released in the West but failed to garner sufficient sales despite critical acclaim and fan worship.
