Returning EverQuest 1 and 2 players receive gold-level memberships during two-week promotion
This week, EverQuest 2 released an update allowing the creation of "Heroic Characters" that starts at level 85, a boon considering EverQuest is notoriously longwinded. And until October 15, select players can have a free Heroic character (will cost $35 after the promotion) and also enjoy the benefits of the paid gold-level membership without paying for it.
Likewise, EverQuest 1 is also giving free gold memberships in the same time frame, along with a large bag and some potions.
If you're a former gold EverQuest 2 player and re-sign up for a new subscription during the promotion, you'll also get your choice of a mount, a Thurgadin Grand hall prestige home, or a Windwalker robe armor set. Any EverQuest 1 player who signs up for a gold subscription during the promotion will have a choice of the Hero's Forge armor system, a Sessiloid mount, or a 36-slot bag.
The Welcome Pack Bundle promotion is only open to select returning players who are former EQ Gold Members that were active and paid for at least one billing cycle between May 21, 2009 and August 1st, 2013. Accounts must have been in good standing when the memberships expired.
This offer is also made available to Free and Silver players who have not logged in for the past 30 days; therefore it is not available for current EQ Gold and SOE All Access members.
