360 Flash drive support update now live
Major Nelson's confirmed the system update for Xbox 360 which adds USB flash support for the console is now live.
The next time you boot up your 360 and sign into Live, you will be forced to update console.
"Sometime over the next few hours when you sign in to Xbox LIVE you’ll receive a prompt to accept this mandatory update. If you are signed into LIVE already, you may be signed out and asked to accept the update and you’ll be back online in a few moments," said Nelson.
To help support the move, Microsoft has teamed up with SanDisk to make official 8Gb and 16Gb memory sticks for 360, although it has been discovered recently they will cost between $40 and $70.
