Original story: Square Enix announced Wednesday that Life is Strange Remastered Collection has been delayed to an unspecified date in early 2022 on all platforms.
The remaster was supposed to release alongside the next game, Life is Strange: True Colors. The main game has itself not been delayed, but releasing the two at the same time would have put undue pressure on the team, so the decision was made to delay the remaster.
Owners of the Life is Strange: True Colors Ultimate Edition, which includes the remaster, will receive the included games when they arrive. The remaster includes the original Life is Strange, as well as Before the Store.
The good news is that those looking forward to True Colors will be happy to know that the game's first DLC, Wavelengths, arrives September 30. Life is Strange: True Colors releases September 10 on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Switch, and Stadia.
