Genshin Impact Lost Riches | All Special Treasure Clue and Iron Coin locations

Genshin Impact Lost Riches is back, and this time it’s the Inazuma edition.

The event tasks you with solving devious clues and finding caches of Iron Coins for exchange at the item shop, but Lost Riches Special Treasure stashes are the real star.

These hidden finds give you dozens of Primogems plus level-up materials once you solve the puzzles guarding them.

Two new areas unlock each day. Head to the location indicated in the event menu under that day, and summon the Treasure-Seeking Seelie.

It lights up as you near a coin cache and eventually starts shining the closer you get. Each area has 60 Iron Coins to find, and the next area won’t unlock until you find them all.

Some spots have special challenges pop up as well, where you’ll need to defeat a few powerful enemies in a short time to earn even more rewards.

Sometimes while digging for Iron Coins, you’ll also come across map fragments for Lost Riches’ Special Treasures.

After assembling all the pieces, head to the location indicated on the map, use the Treasure-Seeking Seelie to uncover a floor puzzle device, and match the pattern to the one shown on the assembled fragments.

Genshin Impact Lost Riches | Lost Riches Area 1

The first area is in Chinju Forest. It’s fairly straightforward, Treasure Hoarders mug you after nearly every find, so make sure you’re prepared for battle.

The next stop is Nazuchi Beach, east of Yashiori Island. Many Nobushi and Hilichurls call this area home. You’ll have to deal with them before finding Iron Coins, as the Seelie disappears once enemies spot you.

The last location is on the small island surrounded by Seelie Courts.

Now it’s back to Narukami Island and the Araumi region. The target area includes the cliffs around the teleport point, but all your treasures are on the lower levels — as are some Fatui agents.

Genshin Impact Lost Riches | Lost Riches Area 4

Area 4 increases the danger some. It’s in the Fort Fujitou region, where lightning regularly strikes the ground. Keep an eye out for the telltale signs of sparks on the ground, and try not to get hit.

Once you’ve assembled the first map pieces, teleport back to Araumi. Your target area is the ruins just north of the Araumi underground entrance, but you don’t need to face the Ruin Guard to get the treasure.

Dig at the spot shown above, and then make the pattern match the one on the map. You’ll need the starter location lit, as well as the corner square opposite it and the two squares on either side.

The same rules apply here as other, similar puzzles. Jumping ends the challenge, and you can walk on any of the tiles as many times as you need.

Head to Jinren Island for this one. It’s pretty straightforward, though some enemies will get in the way.

The area marker covers the Kujou Encampment, where the Tatara Tales quest begins, but all your riches are down below. That's where all the enemies are too.

Just a bit further south is your next location, and it offers a slight respite from the previous area’s battles. You'll need to climb around a bit for some of the Iron Coins, though.

Now go west a little ways, and you’ll find the next cache around the promontory and surrounding beaches there. This one is also home to several enemies, so be prepared as always.

Genshin Impact Lost Riches | Special Treasure 2

The second map points to Fort Mumei, another area with lightning aplenty. Head to the ruins (freezing the water to run across is a good idea if you don’t have Ayaka or Mona), then dig in the area shown below.

Now match the pattern like before, and you’ll get your reward.

Genshin Impact Lost Riches | Lost Riches Area 9

The ninth area takes you near the Pyro Hypostasis, northwest of Kujou Encampment. There's one group of Nobushi, and Treasure Hoarder mobs and slimes ambush you after finding each Iron Coin cache.

Next, head to Jakotsu Mine. The area indicator includes a wide swath around the teleport point, but your goal is around the giant water dome (or the area where it was, if you've already finished Sacred Sakura Cleansing, where the dome used to be). Drop down to the lower level, and the Treasure-Seeking Seelie will guide you to the treasures. They're all close together this time, and no enemy surprises await.

Genshin Impact Lost Riches | Lost Riches Area 11

The 10th area takes you to the eastern edge of Yashiori Island. There's a mob of Nobushi and a Treasure Hoarder gang, so take those out before you start. There's no way to clean the area without engaging in battle. Keep an eye on the ground for signs of impending lightning strikes as well.

Genshin Impact Lost Riches | Lost Riches Area 12

The second area for Wednesday is west of Serpent's Head. If you've unlocked Formation Estate, teleport there and head west.

The quest indicator covers a broad area, but most of the Iron Coins are on or just to the side of the road from the docks — which means you'll have to fight several Nobushi groups.

Area 13 is east of Kujou Encampment near the shore. A few mobs pop up to heckle you, but it's nothing overwhelming.

The final area is just outside the entrance to Mt. Yougou. No enemies dog your steps here, and you'll find most of the Iron Coins near the western road.

With all Iron Coins in hand... that's pretty much it for Lost Riches. You're free to spend them as you see fit, though the special Seelie pets require 280 Iron Coins. You can only pick one of the four colors, so make sure it's the one you want. Despite what some of the descriptions say about elements, there's no difference between the Seelie Pets aside from how they look.

The current Genshin Impact event sticks around for another three days, so you can clear out caches and event challenges at your leisure. Meanwhile, gear up for Yoimiya and Sayu by gathering Naku Weed and Crystal Marrow, and pass the time until new unlocks with longer quest chains, including Sacred Sakura Cleansing.
