Sony acquires Nixxes Software which specializes in PC ports
Sony announced today it has acquired Netherlands-based studio Nixxes Software, which has over 20 years of experience in game development and optimization.
Nixxes will join PlayStation Studios Technology, Creative & Services Group immediately to provide "high-quality in-house technical and development capabilities" for PlayStation Studios.

Nixxes specializes in PC ports and has worked on a variety of games over the years including providing PC development support to Crystal Dynamics on various Tomb Raider games, Project Snowblind, Blood Omen 2, and Marvel's Avengers. The studio's prior work also includes the PC version of Hitman: Absolution, and the PC version of Deus Ex: Mankind Divided among others.
Sony also recently acquired Returnal development studio Housemarque for an undisclosed sum.
