Phase One of the closed beta for Babylon's Fall is coming in July
Closed beta details have been provided for Babylon's Fall.
Platinum Games has provided information on the upcoming closed beta for its action-RPG, Babylon’s Fall.
The tester will focus on various operational tests such as stress tests involving large numbers of players, game system checks, and further tests meant to address any issues that are discovered and to improve the quality of the game.
This means you may experience issues like freezes and crashes while playing the game due to it being an under development build.
A special forum will be available for testers to submit their feedback to the development and operations teams.
The closed beta will be available for PS4, PS5, and Steam. It will release in three phases and will be available in the US, Canada, Brazil, United Kingdom, France, Germany, and Japan.
Phase One is scheduled for late July and will be limited to Steam. A date for Phase Two is to be determined and will be available through Steam and PS4. Phase Three is also without and date, but once it's live, it will be available for PS4, PS5, and Steam.
To participate, you will need a Square Enix Account as well as the corresponding account for the platform you will be playing on.
Character data may be deleted depending on circumstances, and will not be transferred to the launch version of the game.
In Babylon’s Fall, players become a group of warriors known as the sentinels, bonded with special equipment called Gideon Coffins. The goal is to overcome the super tall Tower of Babylon, within which "sleeps a great legacy."
In addition to dual weapons, characters can use the power of their Gideon Coffin to equip two more, to allow for the use of four weapons at once.
During E3 2021 we learned the developers were looking at a live-service model, as we’ll even get new game modes as time goes on, and all new content in the game will be launched for free.
Babylon's Fall is currently without a release date.
