Echoes of the End is a narrative adventure set in a unique fantasy world

Echoes of the End is an action adventure from a new team in Iceland.

Myrkur Games has today revealed Echoes of the End to the world, the studio’s ambitious first project, published in partnership with Prime Matter. In development for PC and consoles, Echoes of the End is set in an original fantasy world.

The third-person action-adventure follows Ryn, who has the ability to manipulate matter. Ryn is forced to abandon her former life as a ruthless fighter for the crown, and must now strike out on her own, forge new alliances, and confront a different side of the world she thought she knew.

Despite its developer’s small size, there’s an impressive technology behind the game - particularly in performance capture - which we got to see a glimpse of at a preview event. Myrkur Games wants to seamlessly integrate high-fidelity cinematics with gameplay, which features exploration, puzzle solving and a bit of fighting.

Much of the game remains under wraps - Echoes of the End may not even end up being its final name, but it looks promising. Echoes of the End does not yet have a release date.
