Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness will air on Netflix in July
A look at the CGI film Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness was shown during Capcom's Resident Evil showcase this evening.
Alongside a new look at Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness, a release window was provided. You can expect to watch the film on Netflix this July.
The movie is set in 2006, which is four years after the events of Resident Evil 2.
As previously reported, the location in the film is Washington DC. Here, Leon has been dispatched to investigate an incident where improper access was made to presidential files. While visiting the White House, he runs into Claire Redfield.
Claire shows him a drawing made in another country by a little boy. It is full of zombies, and the town in the background looks an awful lot like Raccoon City. She also tells him that his outfit doesn't suit him.
The new trailer also shows the White House going into lockdown and the President being taken to a safe bunker, as a horde of zombies has infiltrated the place.
Resident Evil 2 remake’s Nick Apostolides stars as Leon Kennedy and Stephanie Panisello lends her voice to Claire Redfield.
Capcom’s Hiroyuki Kobayashi executive produced the film alongside TMS Entertainment, and Resident Evil: Vendetta’s Quebico and Kei Miyamoto were in charge of the animation.
