Destruction AllStars PS5 trailer shows off all characters
Destruction AllStars has returned with a new look at some gameplay.
Destruction AllStars, the multiplayer destruction derby PS5 exclusive, is still somehow mysterious. We've seen barely any gameplay for it, but Sony is nonetheless hoping to remind you it exists with a new character trailer.
Today's trailer does show some bits of gameplay, of course, but it mostly focuses on the character's themselves, and their unique abilities in the car. One of the neat mechanics in Destruction AllStars is that players can still run around the arena when their car is destroyed, which is another thing we haven't seen much of.
The game's official page says there are 16 heroes in total, but today's trailer only highlights seven. Nevertheless, they all appear to have interesting abilities in their cars, such as spikes that can be deployed on the body of the car, frontal armour that make it easier to crush opponents, a magnet that sucks in cars close by and more. It looks like a good time.
Destruction AllStars, of course, will be one of February's free games on PlayStation Plus, after it got pushed back from November. That said, today's trailer doesn't bring up any release dates, so we hope it's not been delayed again.
