Hitman 3 trailer shows off PlayStation VR gameplay

Playing Hitman 3 in virtual reality promises a good deal of immersion in the living, breathing world of Agent 47.

Hitman 3 will be playable with PlayStation VR, and just like the non-VR version of the game, you will have freedom of approach in the sandbox.

Plus, since the game allows you to play the previous titles, every location from the World of Assassination trilogy can be enjoyed in VR when you play them through the game.

Supported by his Agency handler, Diana Burnwood, in Hitman 3, Agent 47 joins forces with his friend Lucas Grey. Their mission is to eliminate the partners of Providence, and they will need to adapt as their hunt intensifies.

In the game, you can expect six detailed locations with plenty of creative opportunities, and the game gives you the freedom to complete objectives in a world that reacts to everything you do.

It will be released on January 20 for PC, PS4, Xbox One, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S. Buying the game digitally on PS4 will allow you to upgrade to a digital PS5 copy for free. The same is true for Xbox One to Xbox Series X, as the game is making use of Smart Delivery.

The game is also coming to Switch in a cloud version.
