Black Ops Cold War gets double Battle Pass XP, Raid 24/7 playlist

Level up your Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War Battle Pass twice as fast starting now.

Treyarch has kicked off a new double Battle Pass tier progression event in Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War. The promo will be available for the entire weekend, and wraps up on Monday.

To make things more interesting, the multiplayer playlists will be refreshed later today at the usual reset time. Raid will get its own 24/7 playlist away from The Pines. Nuketown Holiday 24/7 will remain, and so will the dedicated Prop Hunt playlist.

Face Off mode, which debuted with Modern Warfare, is making a return this week, too, with the reset. Face Off is essentially an expanded version of Gunfight for 3v3 players. Instead of the one-life rule, Face Off rotates between traditional multiplayer modes. In this case, it will flip between Team Deathmatch, Kill Confirmed, and Domination.

In case you missed it, the free Black Ops Cold War week remains available, offering anyone who does not own the game the chance to access a host of multiplayer playlists for free. The free week ends Thursday, December 24, so you still have time.
