Spider-Man PS4 has sold over 20 million units

Spider-Man continues to be one of the best-selling exclusive games on PS4.

Sony has revealed thatSpider-Man on PS4 has now sold over 20 million units since its release in 2018. The updated figure wasn't revealed directly by the company, rather spotted on the LinkedIn page of PlayStation global marketing lead David Bull.

As spotted by @bogorad222, Bull mentions on his page that Marvel's Spider-Man has sold over 20 million units globally, which he lists as a point of pride as one of his most notable achievements.

LinkedIn has been a great source of updates on PlayStation exclusive game sales, as Sony usually only publishes sales figures immediately following launch, but neglects to post updates afterwards.

You may recall that recently, a former product development director revealed that the PS3's God of War Ascension has sold over 3 million units.

As for Spider-Man, the 20 million figure likely only accounts for sales made on PS4, which means it's bound to get even bigger a couple of years into the new generation as more players pick up the remaster.
