Capcom details how you can customise your new dog mount in Monster Hunter Rise

Capcom has shown off a new look at the creatures that'll be supporting you throughout your journey in Monster Hunter Rise.

Monster Hunter Rise gives you quite a lot of control over how you want your Palamute, Palico, and playable character to look. Monster Hunter has always been about customization and control, and it looks like Rise is improving on the formula once again.

In the clip shared via the game's official  Twitter account, we had our first glimpse at the customization options for your character, your supporting Palico, and the newly introduced Palamute. Check it out below.

The Palamute is one of the newest additions to the franchise and aims to solve the problem of traversal and navigation in the game to some degree. You're able to mount your canine companion, and whilst mounted on its back, you can sharpen your weapons, quaff potions, and tend to all those little tasks a Hunter needs to tend to in between offing massive monsters.

Announced back in September, Monster Hunter Rise puts you into the world of Kamura Village, a new mountain locale where you will experience the unique culture and innovative hunting technologies.
