This Microsoft Flight Sim mod lets you fly around gigantic PS5 and Xbox Series X consoles

If you're eager to see both next-gen consoles and can't wait for the actual release date, you may want to head to Microsoft Flight Simulator.

The popular game is now home to monstrous-sized versions of both the PlayStation 5 and the Xbox Series X, thanks to the efforts of an enterprising modder.

Reddit user Oh_Gaz shared the monolithic Xbox Series X earlier this week, and promised to introduce the world to a PS5 building, too.

As promised, we've now seen a 200-meter-tall reimagining of the Sony console as well as the Microsoft kit.

Oh_Gaz has plonked each of the towering bits of hardware at their respective company's headquarters: the model of the Xbox Series X sits in Microsoft’s campus at its headquarters in Redmond, Washington, and the PS5 is located in Minato, Tokyo.

Oh_Gaz notes that there are still a 'few issues' with the mod, and the user hopes to iron these out soon so that the mod can be packaged up and sent out to users so that they can fly around the buildings themselves.

Back in September, we saw a world update arrive for Microsoft Flight Simulator that improved a couple of features in the game (specifically, the streets of Japan).

The simulator has been a massive success for Microsoft and has received rave reviews from critics and consumers alike. You can check out our 5/5 review at the link.
