Call of Duty: Warzone dev working on a fix for the black box graphical corruption bug
Call of Duty: Warzone's latest bug is as hilarious as it is frustrating.
Since the release of Call of Duty: Warzone's big Season 5 patch, one particular glitch has been responsible for confusing and frustrating the many players who ran into it.
In short, there's a graphical corruption bug that sometimes makes your target appear like a giant, glitchy black box. They can see and shoot you, but you don't know where to aim because they're surrounded by this black haze.
Though developer Infinity Ward already rolled out one patch since the Season 5 update, it was only to make a few balance tweaks for some weapons like the FAL and Bruen. The team is, however, very aware of the problem and it's currently testing a solution as a priority. Infinity Ward issued a tweet to placate fans, but didn't offer any time frame as for when players could expect it.
"We're currently fast-tracking a fix to address the recent graphical corruption bugs some may be seeing on weapons and around the map in Warzone. We are targeting to release this fix as soon as possible and will provide more details as they become available," the developer confirmed on Twitter.

The glitch has actually existed for months in different forms, but it was never that common. Even the black box itself was smaller in size compared to what players are facing today.
