Suspended Ubisoft executive Tommy Francois leaves

Ubisoft's other recently-suspended major executive has left the company.

Tommy Francois, VP of editorial and creative services at Ubisoft, has officially left the publisher. Francois, together with longtime executive Maxime Beland were put on administrative leave in June following several allegations of misconduct.

This makes Francois the sixth longtime, senior staffer to have left Ubisoft over the past few weeks.

The growing list includes VP of editorial Maxime Beland, chief creative officer Serge Hascoet, Canadian studios managing director Yannis Mallat, HR director Cecile Cornet, and PR director Stone Chin. Most of these names were involved in a wide-sweeping series of allegations that rocked Ubisoft in June, which included sexism, sexual misconduct, and abuse.

Ubisoft confirmed Francois' departure in a statement to Games Industry, after journalist Samuel Horti broke the news earlier today.

When the allegations were made public, Ubisoft admitted to have fallen short of creating a safe environment for its staff, and committed to major cultural and personnel changes that include launching an anonymous online tool to report workplace misconduct.
