Halo 3 PC launches as part of the Master Chief Collection tomorrow, July 14
The Halo 3 PC port will launch as part of the Master Chief Collection tomorrow, July 14, at 10am PT.
We already knew that Halo 3 PC was launching on July 14, but the official Halo Twitter page posted a reminder earlier today, before insiders revealed the specific time at which the game would unlock. Check it out below.
"Believe," reads the tweet from the Halo Twitter account. "Tomorrow, Halo 3 arrives on PC."
Tyler "Postums" Davis, who works on community support for the Master Chief Collection, elaborated on this with a further tweet, revealing the exact time the game will be available to play at.
"Tuesday, July 14th, 10am PT," wrote Davis. This is when the Halo 3 PC port is scheduled to unlock for Master Chief Collection owners, which means fans of the series can finally play through the original trilogy in its entirety on PC (Halo 2 launched for PC back in May).
Halo 3 PC is due to feature the original campaign, multiplayer, Forge mode, and plenty more, including updated customization options and the return of Theater mode.
Fans of the series will be glad to know that the official Xbox event scheduled for July 23 is due to feature Halo Infinite gameplay ahead of the iconic series' next installment for Xbox Series X. However, the Halo Infinite reveal will exclusively focus on the game's campaign.
In related news, Halo Infinite recently teased the Banished as an enemy faction ahead of its showcase in less than two weeks time. Halo Infinite is also one of many games that will support smart delivery for Xbox Series X. If you're curious, here's the full list of games for which smart delivery will be available, meaning that purchasing a current-gen copy will allow you to instantly redeem a next-gen copy for free.
