Weird West coming in 2021 from former Arkane Studios devs

Wolfeye Studios, made up of former Arkane Studios devs, will release Weird West next year, it was announced during Devolver Direct.

In Weird West, you will try to survive and unveil “mysteries” as you play through the intertwined destinies of the game’s characters.

Announced last winter, the game is described as an immersive sim where “lawmen and gunslingers” share the wild west with fantastical creatures.

Here’s the blurb:

Journey through the origin stories of a group of atypical heroes, written into legend by the decisions you make in an unforgiving land. Each journey is unique and tailored to the actions taken – a series of high stakes stories where everything counts and the world reacts to the choices you make. Form a posse or venture forth alone into an otherworldly confines of the Weird West and make each legend your own.
