WB Games registers new domains for Suicide Squad, Gotham Knights
Warner Bros. may finally be gearing up to reveal new DC games.
Resetera forum member DriftingOrbit discovered a number of recent domain registrations by Warner Bros., the publisher that owns Rocksteady, WB Montreal and other studios.
More specifically, the user dug up three domains for what could be the publisher's next couple of games. The first is the most straightforward; suicidesquadgame.com. Another domain, likely for the same game, is suicidesquadkillthejusticeleague.com.
Then there's a third, at gothamknightsgame.com, which may be for a different game. All three were registered over a few days last week. All three obviously don't currently direct to anything, and they've all been registered by MarkMonitor, the same company behind WBgames.com.
Fans believe the Suicide Squad game to be Rocksteady's project, whereas Gotham Knights could be WB Montreal's Batman game. Though Rocksteady has been quiet since shipping Arkham Knight in 2015, WB Montreal has been sporadically teasing a Batman game that seems to involve The Court of Owls in some way.
WB Games will be part of the DC Fandome event scheduled for August, so it's possible we'll find out more there. Until then, you can probably count on another anonymous leak on Reddit that purports to actually have real details about both games.
