Jett: The Far Shore is a new sci-fi adventure from Superbrothers.
Jett: The Far Shore was one of the more striking indie reveals on the PS5 showcase. Superbrothers, the co-creator of Sword & Sworcery, return with this cinematic action adventure coming to PC, PS4 and PS5 this holiday.
In The Far Shore, we play as Mei, who sets out to explore an ocean planet with the help of the titular Jett. As she explores and catalogues what she comes across, she's also trying to figure out the reason humanity was invited to this planet.
The game features a systemic open world that asks you to adapt to dangers and solve problems using your tools. The developer says it wanted to blend the accessible, cinematic action-adventure genre with elements of exploration and wonder.
The score is being composed by Scntfc, and the atmospheric teaser below features music by Jim Guthrie, which should be familiar to Superbrothers fans.
