Check out the brand new Godfall trailer, featuring Silvermane
A new Godfall trailer has surfaced online, showcasing yet another look at what to expect from the next-gen title.
"Be lionhearted and ascend with Silvermane," reads the trailer description. You can check out the full Godfall trailer in the video embedded below.
It's short, and doesn't feature much in the vein of gameplay or graphic displays. However, it does mention that Godfall is set to launch for PS5 and PC this holiday, which indicates that next-gen development at Sony is still on track, despite potential delays due to the coronavirus.
For those unacquainted with Godfall, it's an upcoming third-person, fantasy looter slasher being developed for PS5 and PC by Counterplay Games. Gearbox, creator of Borderlands, is also involved. You can check out the original Godfall reveal trailer below, which is a little more fleshed out in terms of details.
If you're extra curious, you can also check out a leaked trailer from earlier this year, which even features Godfall gameplay on PC. Originally, only about six seconds appeared online, but people's interest was sufficiently piqued that fans arranged for the full trailer, which was over a minute long, to resurface on Reddit later that day.
In related news, Cate Blanchett recently signed on to play Lilith in the upcoming Borderlands movie. Meanwhile, Borderlands 2: The Handsome Collection is currently available to download for free from the Epic Games Store.
If you're curious about the capacity of next-gen hardware, don't forget to check out the nine-minute PS5 tech demo built in Unreal Engine 5. Although Godfall constitutes pretty much all we know about PS5 games right now, a variety of new PS5 first-party titles are due to be shown off later this week on June 4.
That's not all you can expect from this week, though. Guerrilla Collective, an indie showcase featuring the likes of 11 bit studios and Larian, is scheduled for this weekend. Meanwhile Halo Infinite has been confirmed as one of the titles due to be shown off at the Xbox Series X reveal in July.
