Star Wars Episode 1: Racer coming to PS4 and Switch on May 12
PC and N64 classic Star Wars Episode 1: Racer is to coming to PlayStation 4 and Switch in May.
Star Wars Episode 1: Racer will be released for PS4 and Switch with modernized controls for your podracer on May 14.
All of the FMV sequences in the game will feature increased resolutions, according to Aspyr on the PS Blog. On PS4, the team also re-mapped all of the controls "to feel right for DualShock 4."
On Switch, the development team wanted to make sure the game felt comfortable in all configurations, including playing with each individual Joy-Con.
In the game, you take control of a podracer and speed around various tracks spanning eight different worlds, such as Baroonda and Tatooine. During the races, you will be able to discover short-cuts and secrets which will help you with lap times.
There are 25 different racers available to play, allowing you to choose between characters such as Anakin Skywalker and Ratts Tyerell.
You will even work with Pit Droids to upgrade your racer, and the game features split-screen multiplayer.
Upon release, it will run you $14.99.
Aspyr also recently released Star Wars Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy for Switch and PS4 with upgraded visuals and modernized controls.
