Digital Dragons Steam Indie Celebration to be livestreamed in May

Valve, Digital Dragons and Walkabout Games have announced a Steam Indie Celebration will be hosted on Steam in May.

Steam Indie Celebration, a digital festival, will be streamed live on Steam this May, courtesy of the Central European industry event Digital Dragons.

During the live festival, a selection of 50 games will be showcased over three days on a dedicated Steam homepage. You can expect live demos, developer interviews, and on the last day, an award ceremony will be held recognizing the top three games of the show. The ceremony will also announce the results of community-nominated awards.

A jury of industry professionals and gaming journalists will select the games for the event, including: Robert Purchese of Eurogamer, Destructoid's Brett Makedonski, Karol Zajączkowski from 11bit studios, Jakub Rokosz of Fool’s Theory, and Indie Games Polska's Jakub Wojcik.

You can tune in May 13-15.

Digital Dragons host an Indie Showcase at the annual conference each May in Krakow, Poland. The Steam Indie Celebration is in partnership with Valve and Walkabout Games, and the regular Indie Showcase at the rescheduled Digital Dragons 2020 conference will take place September 14-15.
